Virtual/Online Health and Safety Representative Course:

This Online Course is done as Virtual Training - live with our experienced trainer. The trainer allows space for discussion, questions and lots of interaction to ensure you get the best quality training experience and are ready to work as a Health and Safety Rep. In addition, there are practical problem-solving case studies throughout the course to give you experience and confidence for the real world.

Group Health and Safety Representative Course:

For companies and organizations with multiple people to be trained, we offer group rates for in-company training nationwide - this can also be done at your premises or at a venue local to you if preferred.

When a health and safety rep has been chosen/elected, the employer is required under Section 8 of the 2005 Act to provide training which will help them carry out their role successfully.
Yes – the health and safety representative (HSR) has an important role in the safety of their colleagues. The role involves inspections, investigations, liaising between employees and employers and other important functions; it is vital that they are properly trained in the skills required.
The health and safety rep is chosen by their colleagues. Any employee can put their name forward for the role.
A safety representative may consult with, and make representations to, the employer on safety, health and welfare matters relating to the employees in the workplace. The employer must consider these representations, and act on them if necessary.
The role involves inspections, investigations, liaising between employees and employers and other important functions related to health and safety in the workplace
The health and safety representative is chosen by the employees of the company.
