The CSCS Mobile Access Tower courses, designed and accredited by SOLAS, provides learners with the skills and knowledge to safely assemble, use & dis-assemble Mobile Access Towers. (i.e. M.A.T.’s).
Course Aims and Objectives:
On completion of this course, learners will be;
- Aware of the current health & safely legislation
- Able to safely erect, move, inspect & dis-assemble Mobile Access Towers
- Be aware of typical hazards associated with working with Mobile Access Towers

- Health & Safety Legislation surrounding the use of Mobile Access Towers
- Employers & Employees Responsibilities
- Safely assembling/disassembling, use & inspection of Mobile Access Towers
- Working at Heights
Training Methods:
Classroom based power-point presentation with a practical component; (i.e. Correct & safe assemebly & dis-assembly of a Mobile Access Tower & pre-use inspection)
Who Should Attend?
This course is for those staff who erect/dismantle or use M.A.T.’s as part of their normal work duties.

- All candidates must bring with them a passport sized photo, a valid Safe Pass Card, safety helmet, safety boots, hi-viz jacket, gloves and scaffolders spirit level.
- Certificate of Competence will be issued to all learners who successfully complete & pass this course
