Our CSCS Health and Safety at Roadworks course is designed specifically for those staff who work on or in proximity to road works so that they understand the dangers & risks associated with this type of work. This course is a legal requirement under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006.

Course Aims and Objectives:
On completion of this course the learners will;
- Understand the hazards & risks associated with working at or near road works
- Be aware of the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006
- Be aware of the need for creating dangers for all road users
- Be aware of the Employers & Employees Duties under current health & safety legislation

Training Methods:
Classroom based presentation on power-point with interactive discussions throughout.
Who Should Attend?
Those staff who undertake work on or near road works as part of their normal work duties.

- Minimum of 8, Maximum of 20 learners
- 1 Day programme
- SOLAS CSCS Identity Card & QQI certification will be awarded to those who successfully complete & pass this one day course
- Learners must have an up to date Safe Pass Card & their own PPE (e.g. Safety Footwear etc….), and PPS number.
